GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026
Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Helper. A total of 2,510 vacancies are available under this recruitment. Eligible ITI candidates can apply online from 07 September 2026 to 06 October 2026.
The Helper post will initially be offered on a contractual basis for five years with a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 21,100/-. After completion of the contractual period, candidates may be considered for regular appointment according to the applicable rules.

GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The minimum age required for the GSRTC Helper post is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation will be available to eligible reserved categories as per applicable government rules.
GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026 Qualification
Candidates must have passed at least a one-year course from a Government-recognized ITI in an eligible trade. The accepted trades include Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, General Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Sheet Metal Worker, Automobile Body Repairer, Welder, Welder cum Fabricator, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter General and Automobile Paint Repairer.
Preference may be given to candidates who have completed an apprenticeship in the relevant ITI trade and possess a valid NCVT certificate and mark sheet.
GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process includes a written examination based on General Knowledge, Gujarat-related subjects, Gujarati and English Grammar, ITI trade knowledge and Basic Computer Knowledge.
