The CBT consists of 120 multiple-choice questions for 120 marks with a duration of 90 minutes and no negative marking, divided into Part A (General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Science) and Part B (trade-related ITI subjects). Candidates who qualify in the CBT are called for the Trade Test, which is practical in nature and only qualifying, while the final merit list is based mainly on CBT performance.
