Educational Qualification
For Technician-B Electronic Mechanic, candidates should have passed SSLC/SSC and possess ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic Trade from NCVT. For Technician-B Fitter, SSLC/SSC with ITI/NTC/NAC in Fitter Trade from NCVT is required. For Draughtsman-B Mechanical, candidates should have SSLC/SSC along with ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade from NCVT.
Application Fee
Applicants initially have to pay ₹500. Female, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible for full fee refund. Other candidates will receive a refund of ₹400 after retention of ₹100 as the application fee, subject to the recruitment rules.
Age Limit & Salary
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 35 years, with relaxation applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Government rules. Selected candidates will receive Level-3 pay of ₹21,700–69,100, along with admissible allowances and benefits as per ISRO rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a Written/CBT Examination followed by a Skill Test. The written examination will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each and will have a duration of 90 minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for every incorrect answer. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test based on written-test performance. The Skill Test will be conducted on a go/no-go basis, and its marks will not be added to the final merit. Final selection will be based on written-test marks among candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
